The fact is a fatal car crash could happen to anybody at any time, even you!
The sad truth is there maybe nothing you can do about it. This horrific video, created by Tanvir Ahmad, collates government television adverts and some horrific real life accident scenes and tragically this is what really does happen on the roads around the world
Warning: This video will shock you! It is not recommended for viewing by young children.
If you see the good this video can do then we encourage you to share it! Pass the message on, educate everybody.
The majority of people have probably never even seen a fatal accident occur and as a result they most likely don’t realise the speed, horror and impact those few seconds can have on the families and friends of victims.
Again, this video illustrates the chaos that can evolve from being impatient, showing off, using your phone, drink driving and careless driving. Please take care on the roads, don’t be foolish, think of the consequences of your actions.

I am lost for words, this video is shocking…
People need to see this though I guess…
I agree, people do need to see this, I shared and forwarded it to my friends on FB.
I actually couldnt watch the whole way through, I had seen enough and gasped enough.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Its enought to make me go no faster than 90km/h on the open highway and freeway system.
So long as I remain distracted, I shall remain ‘safe’, I just won’t speed and will keep 10-20km/h below the speed limit, always, to save lives.
Great vid.
Thanks guys, Its powerful, and I felt it really should be shared.
Even if 1 person slows down, it will make us happy….
Thanks again
Yes graphic Should be shown on permanent loop in emergency rooms.
The one where they come around corner at 130 and slide into a pole killing her is one of several shown on NZ TV several years ago.
I will never forget the one where two girls without seat belts have a head on and the passenger lands on the other windscreen in front of a 10 year old kid. Absoulutely horrifying and the sooner they show them here the better. Might wake some of the selfish, totally irresponsible idiots up.
Nice vid.
Hey Rabid Cat it was people driving way under the limit that helps set up the circumstances for some of those accidents.
Most of the accidents shown were cause by inattentiveness and careless driving.
Speed is not the enemy here.
Hey Jamie, how can you watch these vids and claim that ‘speed is not the enemy here’. Have a closer look, most were traveling too fast. Hope you not trying to justify your own lead foot here.
to rabid cat, its idiots like you who dont keep to the speed limit that frustrate others enough to try and overtake dangerously.
Seriously stick to the speed limit, did you not notice in the video that it was mostly due to overtaking other slow vehicles?
10-20km bellow speed limit, jesus christ how did you get your licence
Wow, thats shocking!
When we rent a campervan in future I will MAKE sure we drive carefully! I wonder how aware backpackers of the driving rules in Australia? Can you write a post?
@Stephan – Note that the speed limit is the maximum permitted speed for a road, yes it’s frustrating when drivers drive slower than the signposted limit in *good* conditions, however remember it’s all about driving to the conditions, not the limit.
If it’s bucketing down cats and dogs, the road is slick and oily, then in many cases it’s necessary to drive with extra caution and at a slower speed particularly on bends and approaching intersections.
There’s countless accidents in Far North Queensland every year during the wet season as a result of impatient drivers attempting to stick to the speed limit instead of slowing to drive to the conditions.
Use your common sense people, unfortunately it’s just not so common these days.
I lost my youngest son a month ago in a vehicle accident and this video has brought all the pain back again. He was not to blame either. It hurts so much to lose someone you love.
Please everyone drive safely
Lee, very sorry to hear of your loss. Indeed , everybody needs to be careful on the roads. They are not safe.

For the most part the video doesn’t have much to do with speeding. It’s careless idiots causing the accidents depicted.
These idiots include those driving 10-20kph under the limit. When the traffic around you is going that much faster, it’s stupid & can be dangerous.
Why do people harp on about speed being the issue?

While these accidents are indeed shocking, None of the was actually caused by speed.
Speed may have contributed to the severity of the accident, but didn’t cause it.
look again and see that each accident was caused by somebody doing something either illegal or inconsiderate or just plain stupid
